Republican US presidential candidate Donald Trump mentioned Tuesday that his weekend rally in New York’s iconic Madison Sq. Backyard, criticized for its audio system’ crass and racist rhetoric, was a “love fest.”

“Politicians which have been doing this for a very long time — 30 and 40 years — mentioned there’s by no means been an occasion so stunning. It was like a love fest, an absolute love fest, and it was my honour to be concerned,” Trump mentioned at a marketing campaign occasion at his south Florida mansion.
