The Board of Management for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday introduced monetary help to the Paris Olympics-bound Indian athletes, contributing Rs 8.5 crore to the Indian Olympic Affiliation (IOA) for his or her marketing campaign.

The Paris Video games will start from July 26.

“I’m proud to announce that the @BCCI will likely be supporting our unbelievable athletes representing #India on the 2024 Paris Olympics. We’re offering INR 8.5 Crores to the IOA for the marketing campaign,” BCCI secretary Jay Shah wrote on his ‘X’ account.

“To our total contingent, we want you the perfect. Make India proud! Jai Hind!” As many as 117 athletes will symbolize India on the Paris Olympics. There may also be 140-strong help workers, making it a 257-member contingent.
