Hollywood star Angelina Jolie can be honoured with the Maltin Fashionable Grasp Award on the 2025 Santa Barbara Worldwide Movie Competition, the organisers have introduced.

In response to Selection, the award was established in 1995 to honour filmmakers who’ve modified the film trade by vital contributions and affect.

It was renamed the Maltin Fashionable Grasp Award in 2015 to honour long-time SBIFF moderator and movie critic Leonard Maltin.

“Angelina Jolie makes daring selections, each as an actress and as a director. She units the bar excessive in each disciplines and all the time comes by. I look ahead to reviewing her profession together with her in Santa Barbara,” Maltin stated.

The fortieth version of the Santa Barbara Worldwide Movie Competition will run from February 4 to fifteen, 2025. Jolie can be honoured on the Arlington theatre on February 5.
