Akasa Air Passenger Complains Of Expired Food Packets, Airline Responds

An Akasa Air passenger has complained that the airline allegedly served expired meals packets to passengers onboard a Gorakhpur-Bengaluru flight on Saturday, following which the airline mentioned it’s enterprise an in depth probe into the incident.

After the passenger took to social media to air the grievance, the airline admitted that a couple of passengers had been “inadvertently served refreshments that didn’t meet our high quality requirements” and expressed remorse over the incident.

In a press release on Sunday, the airline mentioned it’s conscious of and absolutely acknowledges the priority raised by a passenger, who was on flight QP 1883 from Gorakhpur to Bengaluru, concerning pre-packaged refreshments served.

“Upon preliminary investigation, it was discovered that a couple of passengers had been inadvertently served refreshments that didn’t meet our high quality requirements.

“We’re in contact with the passenger involved and are enterprise an in depth investigation with a view to making sure that such incidents don’t happen sooner or later,” the airline mentioned, regretting the inconvenience brought about to the passengers.
