Chief Election Commissioner's Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing In Uttarakhand

Rajiv Kumar’s chopper made an emergency touchdown in Uttarakhand.

A helicopter with Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar and extra Chief Election Officer of Uttarakhand Vijay Kumar Jogdande on board made an emergency touchdown in a village close to Munsyari in Pithoragarh district at the moment. All of the passengers are protected.

The chopper was on its strategy to Milam Glacier however needed to land on a helipad in Ralam village, 42 km away, as a consequence of cloudy climate and low visibility.

The village is round 200 km away from the district headquarters.

The Chief Election Commissioner, his private safety officer and Mr Jogdande have taken shelter in a home.
